Beehive Healthcare Solutions Essex Community Ultrasound is the Ultrasound Services arm of Beehive Solutions Ltd.

As a solution driven company, our core expertise is to provide full bespoke clinical service packages and options that are available to both NHS Hospital Trusts and ICB's to meet local Essex community needs. We are able to react quickly to changes in the Health Care needs and implement new services to support our colleagues in the NHS and their patients, by utilising our highly experienced clinical teams, within our operational expertise. We provide Insourced / ioutsourced, Managed Ultrasound Service options to NHS Trusts, GP's, Private clinics and Clinical Commissioning Groups, Integrated care Boards (ICB). These Services include the provision of Ultrasound Services solutions for General, Gynaecological, Musculoskeletal and Vascular ultrasound scans, Radiology reporting Service and Teleradiology. Currently providing Ultrasound scan service at Southend, Basildon, Brentwood and Chelmsford Regions. 

Our Directors Kevin Rendell and Zaffar Ahmed all have extensive backgrounds as NHS Ultrasound Consultants, Radiologists, Sonographers and Vascular Scientists, and our company aims to improve the Health of the Nation through the provision of rapid access, superior quality, Radiology, Ultrasound Imaging Services at cost effective prices.

Beehive Healthcare have been providing Insourced Radiology Service, and Community ultrasound services in the Essex region for over 10 years; operating within, or on behalf of, a variety of GP Surgeries, NHS Hospitals, Private Clinics and Clinical Commissioning Groups, Integrated Care Boards  (ICB).

We have been registered with the Care Quality Commission since its inception and operate under the framework of a comprehensive Quality Assurance program.

With head office in Ilford, and South Woodford East London; amongst other contracts, we have been working in partnership with Barking Havering and Redbridge NHS Hospitals Trust, Mid South Essex NHS Trust and Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust since February 2010, providing their entire Vascular Ultrasound service; and we have spent the past 5 years refining our Essex Community Ultrasound Service across the Essex region, to the point where we are now able to roll it out across the UK.

Our team of NHS experienced Consultant Radiologists, Sonographers, Ultrasound Assistants & Administration staff are dedicated to improving your patient’s experience of an Ultrasound service – faster appointments; accessible locations; professional scans; speedier reporting.
